Premier Fixed Income Fund Update

Lonsec have recently completed their most recent review of the Premier Fixed Income Fund and we are pleased announced the fund has been upgraded to ‘Investment Grade’ at Lonsec’s latest review*. "Lonsec has upgraded the Fund’s rating to ‘Investment Grade’ in this review. Lonsec believes that Aviva Investors has quality internal global capabilities with strong analytical focus which brings together qualitative and quantitative research." Source: Lonsec report, March 2010 Reflecting the successful transition of the fund’s management from Australia to our global fixed income team, Lonsec’s report stated that, "The Fund is now managed out of the UK. Lonsec considers this prudent given the main alpha source for the Fund to come from global bonds (UK) and global high yield (US & UK)......" "Lonsec has met with key members of the global aggregate and global high yield investment teams and considered their investment processes. In Lonsec’s opinion the teams are impressive, especially global high yield, and the underlying capabilities strong."
